At Banff National Park, national law tightly governs sign-practises. For example, all directional-signs (as pictured above), street names and advisories must be translated into Canada's two official languages: English and French. Interestingly, as one leaves Banff Nat'l Park (and approaches Canmore), all signage gets restored with English-only autonomy.
