Route SN-40 connects San Luis Rio Colorado (SLRC) motorists with Golfo de Santa Clara.  The route remains unsigned in SLRC.  It remains uncertain whether the route gets shield-posted south of here; if you can confirm if this is (or is not) the case, please send feedback here for personal credit.
