San Luis Rio Colorado has, generally-speaking, very helpful and community-centered inhabitants.  Whether they're helping you with local directions and/or raising funds for their unhealthy ones, this border-city makes one feel welcome regardless of nationality or gender.  In the picture above, the stop-signs have medical-charity attendants.  Donations are completely optional.
