The A5 can be described as a multi-culutral highway, connecting Turin
and the Mount Blanc Tunnel. Near its western terminus, the route is well inside an Italian province
where French is widely spoken, and guaranteed by law.
This region is called Vallée d'Aoste. Turin, as you'd expect, is completely submersed in Italian-speaking
culture.
