Claiming several forms of terrain and adjacent human settlements, Indiana State Route 135 thrusts an interesting path from Indianapolis to the Kentucky stateline.  Starting from its northern terminus, the route covers flat suburban land.  After leaving the outskirts of the capital region, the route swaths through hilly land in south-central state.  The scenery of this terrain is at is best near Nashville (Indiana).  The route stretches down to the Ohio River, where it crosses into Kentucky and becomes KY-79.
