State Route 170 serves as the northern stretch of the Hollywood Freeway, allowing the entertainment industry to quickly bypass Interstate 5 south and Burbank (home of NBC Studios, Warner Brothers Studios and Disney Studios), and reach Hollywood (Universal Studios)  and Studio City (Fox Studios).
