Beijing, which houses more than 10 million inhabitants, has an extensive collection of ring roads. By far, the most heavily traveled is the Third Ring Road. This route is the closest expressway near city-centre to touch all major radial expressways: the Badaling Expressway, the Airport Expressway, the Jingshi Expressway, etc.
